Messaging Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This Messaging Policy explains how text messaging (SMS/MMS) works within Crewsie, LLC(“Crewsie”) and how consent, opt-out, and help are handled. It supports our compliance with carrier requirements (including A2P 10DLC) and applicable law such as the TCPA.
Program description
Crewsie enables service businesses (“organizations”) to send and receive text messages with their own customers—for example appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, dispatch notifications, quotes, invoices, and replies to inbound questions. Each organization is the sender of record for messages to its customers; Crewsie provides the software and connects to a messaging carrier (Twilio) to deliver messages.
Consent and opt-in
- Organizations are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their customers before sending messages, consistent with applicable law and carrier rules.
- Consent is collected by the organization (for example when a customer provides a mobile number and agrees to receive texts about their service). Message frequency varies based on your interactions and job activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.Crewsie does not charge consumers for messages; standard rates from the consumer’s mobile carrier may apply.
Opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP)
- Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP (and similar keywords such as STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT). After opting out, the recipient will receive a confirmation and no further non-essential messages from that number.
- Recipients can reply HELP (or HELP-style keywords) for assistance, which returns support contact information.
- Opt-out and help keyword handling are supported by our carrier and the platform.
No sharing of opt-in data for third-party marketing
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers and messaging consent collected through Crewsie are used only to deliver the messaging features an organization has enabled, and are shared only with service providers (such as our messaging carrier) strictly to deliver those messages. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Your responsibilities (organizations)
- Obtain and maintain records of consent where required;
- Honor opt-out requests promptly and do not message recipients who have opted out;
- Send only messages related to the recipient’s service or your lawful business; and
- Comply with the TCPA, carrier rules, and other applicable laws.
